The world has roughly 892 million illiterate people, 63% of whom are women.

In order to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, countries must recruit an estimated 68.8 million teachers in the next 14 years, 24.4 million primary, and 44.4 million secondary school teachers, and new, innovative solutions must be found to meet the challenges of delivering content to students effectively and efficiently.
